Property Investment Strategies

Property investment is used to describe many activities engaged in by an investor to create a profit from property.

Wikipedia describes property investment in this way:

“Real estate investing involves the purchase, ownership, management, rental and/or sale of real estate for profit.”

How a property is utilised to turn a profit for the investor varies greatly.

The most common strategy is ‘buy and hold’ where investors purchase properties they can hold onto and rent out long term and this strategy is coined ‘buy and hold’. There are other strategies that generate a profit much faster.
